Shropshire Council has partnered with Citymapper to provide a new official journey planning app for Shropshire, helping residents and visitors plan journeys more easily across the county.
Officially launching on 1 August 2026, Citymapper makes it easier for local communities and visitors to plan journeys across the county by bringing together buses, trains, walking and cycling routes a single, free app.
The app provides real-time journey information, service alerts and step-by-step directions, helping people travel with confidence and make informed travel choices.
Further information about Citymapper can be found on the Council’s new Citymapper webpage, and the free app is available to download via the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. An online journey planner is also available for those who prefer not to use a mobile app, and please see a step-by-step guide.
